Glenn is the oldest son of the Broadfield family. He lives and works as a landscape designer/contractor in the Chicago area but is down regularly and occasionally teaches lessons at Breezy Bluff. Glenn is also the main judge when we have on farm shows
Glenn started riding about the same time as he started walking. He was initiated into horsemaship by an onery little palomino pony named Sugar. Thus began his love affair with palominos. His next horse Amber Dawn lived to be 38 years old and is buried on the farm. Glenn won many many classes with Amber in both western and English riding styles.
Glenn moved on to Dun By Dan (aka Benji) when he was in high school. Accomplishing his goal in his last year of 4-H Glenn won both Western and English Horsemaship and Pleasure in the Horsemaster level at the McLean County Fair.
Glenn has a hands on approach and you might be asked to step down as he will show you exactly what he wants you to do on the horse.
You will enjoy the treat if you are fortunate to occasionally have Glenn for an instructor
